Sculpture Gardens
Accessibility and Parking
The Sculpture Garden is not on a level setting – the contours are artfully used to provide many points of view of the many pieces.
Since the landscaping strikes a balance between nature and organisation, there are parts that people with limited mobility may find challenging. Such people can still see most of the works of art, however, although they may not be able to approach them all as closely as others. This, some argue, is not a problem.
If you have limited mobility, please ask at reception for directions to the flat area of the gardens. We also have wheelchair access to the gallery and main building that can be opened on request.
Parking at Broomhill
- car park with 80 spaces
- coach parking
- disabled parking
- overflow
When you turn in to the Broomhill site, you will go over a small bridge on a left hand bend and directly in front of you will be the large car park, with 80 spaces and room for coaches.
To reach the disabled parking, follow the road which goes to the right of the large car park. You will follow a couple of sharp bends up a hill past some sculptures, and at the top of the hill in front of you will be the hotel. The disabled parking is here, to the left in front of the hotel, with the wheelchair access ramp into the hotel directly beside it. This wheelchair access entrance is opened upon request, please contact us prior to your arrival on site.
In extremely busy periods extra parking room is available, come and ask at reception, or give us a ring on .
