The art of a well spent day
Broomhill would love to be able to welcome everybody 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But, like everybody we need a break and we need time, without visitors on the premises, to carry out work to maintain the Hotel, the Sculpture Gallery and the Sculpture Gardens.
We have set out below a summary of the times the various parts of Broomhill are open for business and welcome visitors.
Opening Times
Sculpture Gardens
Open all year (Mon-Sun) • 11:00 until 16:00
16:00 is the last admission time
Please note: We are closed between 20 Dec and 15 Jan

Occasionally the gallery will be closed for short periods for re-hanging or for other reasons. If a gallery visit is important to you, please check beforehand.
Restaurant
Three-Course Lunch: Wed-Sun – bookings taken for between 12:15-13:30
Three-Course Dinner: Wed-Sat – bookings taken for between 19:00-20:30
Lunchtime Bar Meals: Mon-Sun – booking not required
Occasionally the restaurant will be closed for functions. If you wish to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant please check beforehand to avoid disappointment.
Hotel
Open all year Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun
The hotel is closed between 20 Dec and 15 Jan.
Exceptions
We are happy to talk with you if you have a party, school trip (see Schools) or other special occasion that falls outside of the standard opening times above.
Before You Set Off
If there is a specific reason for your trip to Broomhill we would always recommend you email us or telephone beforehand. A sculpture in the garden may have been sold; the Gallery may be temporarily closed for re-hanging; maintenance work may restrict access in parts of the garden.
