Perfect retreat in the Devon countryside

“We’ve just spent a long weekend at the excellent Broomhill Art hotel. The owners and staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you but are never intrusive. The food was truly amazing (We were on a special weekend deal) and the price of drinks is really reasonable. The setting is stunning and you must spend time wandering around the sculpture gardens - Even worth visiting if you are not staying at the hotel. Make sure that you seek out the Mike Roles installation as it is brilliant. Can't think of one negative comment, had a great weekend.” — Andy Flatman, Ipswich, Trip Advisor, 27 Feb 2012

Passion Blossoms

Ronald Westerhuis

An email with some images, a couple of years ago, made me decide to visit Ronald Westerhuis in his Dutch studio. I was immediately taken by his monumental abstract stainless steel objects, designed with such thought, to stand out in landscapes or suburban enclosures, when touched by sun light they reflected a heightened spirit and energy.
